BMW Vortex Damper Plugs (32mm 6pcs)

EGR systems, which German manufacturers install in BMW cars, are designed to reduce the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere. However, it has a very negative effect on the operation of the motor. Due to the fact that the exhaust gases are fed back into the cylinders, the wear of the swirl flaps and, in fact, the cylinders themselves, is much faster. For this reason, many car owners remove the dampers in advance, and block the remaining holes with plugs.

One of the first in this system to become unusable is the damper axis. The main symptoms of such a malfunction are:

• Reduced engine thrust.
• Trembling sounds.
• Valve leaking oil.

If you ignore these symptoms and do not remove the swirl flaps, then later this will lead to a malfunction of the engine or even its destruction. To avoid this, our company Klifex manufactures and sells swirl damper plugs on the Ukrainian market to turn off the recirculation system.

BMW manufacturers changed the diameter of the manifold hole, so you should carefully choose the plugs for the engine:

• In cars that were produced before 2004, the diameter is 22 mm.
• After 2004, basically the diameters are only increased.

To make repairs yourself, you must first remove the manifold, as well as remove the throttle pipe, turn off all the chips. Removing the manifold should begin with the cylinder head, removing the oil dipstick and vacuum tubes. Next, you need to remove the dampers, mount the plugs and install the manifold back.
