Repair kit for the hose that runs from the coolant thermostat housing to the front of the cylinder head. The plastic fitting on this hose is a known weak point in the cooling system, as it usually cracks and leaks, a new aluminum fitting will be an excellent long-lasting solution to this problem. Simply remove the end of the hose from the plastic fitting, and then the fitting from the head (for this, the hose does not need to be removed from the thermostat housing). Then install the new aluminum fitting on the head and put the hose and hose clamp on the fitting.
